Queistion 1-
Here this graph displays the ages of the people who filled in the questioners. It was important that every age shown above was involved in taking part in the questionnaire. This is so the results can be more accurate and fair. Generally, different age groups will have a slightly different opinion to other age groups. For example somebody in the 20+ range will want the magazine to be published formally, and somebody in the 10-14 age group will want a magazine written informally.
Queistion 2-
Gender can also affect what the students may want in a college magazine, for example a boy generally wouldn’t want to read about fashion, and a girl wouldn’t want to read about sport. Therefore it was important for me to ask a fair ratio of boys against girls to make sure we don’t get a bias opinion. We can see by the graph this was achieved and therefore will have a set of more effective results.
Nationality could also affect somebody’s likes and dislikes in a magazine because certain ethnic groups may not like the same music as another for example. It is important that we get a range of different opinions in order to make sure that we get a set of fair results. Therefore the magazine will be a popular with all different kinds of ethnicities and music.
Queistion 4-
We ask this question to see how much understanding people have of previous magazines and what they would like to see. Even if they haven’t read a magazine, their opinion of what somebody would like to see in a magazine is also very important for a popular college magazine.
Queistion 5-

This question can be very important, do we make a college magazine informal, for the college students themselves, or do we make a college magazine for students and parent whom are looking to attend the college. From the questionnaire we can see that the very large majority of people would like to see the college magazine. However to be successful, it is important that we listen to everybody’s opinion, therefore we could think of maybe 2 or 3 pages of formal information also relevant to the students, as well as the parents.
Queistion 6-

The large majority have said they would like the magazine to talk about sports. However there are still some people who would rather the magazine didn’t contain nay sports pages. I think that because the number of people who would like to read about sports is a great deal bigger than people who wouldn’t. I think that sports should be put in the magazine however I believe that it should be kept to 2 or 3 pages so everybody is happy
Queistion 7-
Just like question 6 a lot more people would want to read about fashion than those who don’t. I think the same solution above should be used so that everybody can have parts of that magazine they are interested in.
Queistion 8-

As we can see here, everybody who was asked in the questionnaire would like to have a student’s problem page. I think this is popular as it is something all the students can get involved in and read. It interested everybody therefore would be an important aspect to the magazine
Queistion 9-

Here we can see that more than half the people asked would prefer to have the magazine published every month. However there are also quite a lot of people who would like the college magazine to be published every week. We could compromise this by maybe releasing a 1-2 page newsletter updating the students on what’s been going on in the college every week.
Queistion 10-

As we can see here most of the students said that they would prefer not to pay for a college magazine. The people who are likely to have said yes are probably parents and students who are thinking about coming to the college in the near future. Most students don’t have a lot of money so it would be convenient for them to have the college magazine published and given to them for free.
Queistion 11-

In this graph we can see that everybody would like the students to get involved in the making of the college magazine. This is obviously important to the students that they get involved in their own magazine. I think that it is essential that we involve students in their own magazine as they know what themselves and their peers will enjoy reading, it will add a personal stamp to the college magazine itself.
